Philip Moon
Head of Drama
Born in the Northeast of England, Mr. Moon began his teaching journey in the not-so-distant year of 2019 at the University of Sunderland, where he trained to become a Drama Teacher, having begun his actor training back in 2013. In 2020, he decided to leave the UK for eastern lands, moving to Moscow, Russia as the subject lead for Drama at an international school there. After 3 successful and rewarding years, Philip decided to continue his journey further east, joining Dulwich International High School Zhuhai in the summer of 2023 as the Head of Drama.
Philip is beyond excited to not only be working alongside an extremely talented team here, but also to begin training the brilliant students of Dulwich Zhuhai in the various styles and techniques throughout the dramatic world. He aims to foster a safe, successful, and downright enjoyable environment through his presence, lessons and the various performance events throughout the academic year (such as the Shakespeare Festival, Production and the Dulwich Olympiad).
