2019 DHZH Graduates Offer Updates

In this year’s graduation season, 68 Graduates of Dulwich International High School Zhuhai (DHZH) have received 320 offers from world’s top universities by Mid-April. A fantastic turn out for our Graduates! One student received 17 top universities offers from UK, USA and Canada. To date, Dulwich Graduates have received 34 top 10 university offers, 64 top 20 university offers and 113 top 30 university offers according to the QS and U.S. NEWS Global University Ranking.

Similarly to last year’s DHZH university applications, most of our Graduates have applied for universities in UK. However, our Graduates this year have received more offers from G5 universities: 4 offers from Imperial College London (QS: Ranked 8th in the world), 28 offers from University College London (QS: Ranked 10th in the world) and 6 offers from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

 

For Graduates that applied for Universities in Commonwealth of Nations (UK, Canada and Australia) and Hongkong, China: 40% of students have received QS top 10 University offers; 65% of students have received QS top 20 University offers; 75% of students have received QS top 30 University offers. We have another 15 students received offers from Australia: The University of Melbourne and The University of Sydney (12 or 3 respectively) , which are listed in world’s top 50 universities.

For students that applied for Universities in USA, 85% of students have received U.S. NEWS Top 100 National Universities offers, Including University of California, Berkeley (U.S NEWS Global: Ranked 4th in the world) , University of Washington (U.S NEWS Global: Ranked 10th in the world) and University of California, Los Angeles(U.S NEWS Global: Ranked 13th in the world). Dulwich International High School Zhuhai is devoted to ‘Best Fit’ university placements for our students and we are delighted to learn that our students have received offers from their dream universities, such as Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University, Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester and California Institute of the Arts.

From the perspective of the offered majors, this year our students received a various of subjects in fields such as economics, science, engineering, art, management and education. The most applied majors are psychology, economics, engineering, sociology and mathematics, while many students also chose aerospace engineering, film production, archaeology, neuroscience, architecture and other majors of interest. The diversity of majors further proves that Dulwich International High School Zhuhai is devoted to ‘Best Fit’ university and major placements for our students. This is a testament to our devotion and philosophy of promoting self-confidence and self-awareness. Our programme ensures students can realise their well-informed dreams when leaving Dulwich.
