Simon is the school’s Deputy Director with responsibility for the students’ academic achievements, as well as being the pastoral supervisor for Years 12 and 13 and also overseeing the professional development of teaching and administrative staff. He worked as a stockbroker for a large investment bank in the city of London before making the switch to education. Upon completing his first master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Bath, he then followed this up by attending the University of Manchester where he completed his PGCE. Simon worked at a high achieving secondary school in West London, before joining Dulwich Zhuhai in 2012. During his time here, he has supported the school’s significant developments whilst also completing another master’s degree, this time in Education, and is now primarily focused on investigating and supporting the most effective methods for improving our students’ academic performance.
