Beverley Barnes

Head of Business and Economics/Child Protection Officer

Beverley graduated from the University of Manchester with both a BA and PGCE before completing her Masters in Education at Durham University. Teaching since 2008, Beverley has taught in China, Japan and Qatar. Beverley is the schools Child Protection Officer responsible for student well being and Head of Business and Economics. Her main interest outside of academic responsibilities is running the schools World Scholars Cup team, which allows students to develop their independent and critical  thinking skills whilst having fun competing around the world and making new friends in many different cultures. Schools is about preparing for life, and not just exams, a philosophy Beverley is seeking to expand in the Business Studies Department.
