This year’s examination took place in September 2021. Dulwich Zhuhai students and teachers have been preparing for it one year in advance. Extensive reading and research, as well as studying some Pre-university concepts and practice from the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge (C3L6), the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) etc.

Participating in global competition and achieving awards and honors is certainly one of the highlights in students’ university application, especially when pursuing Chemical Sciences or Biochemical Sciences. Students will accumulate more mastery knowledge, improve skills in independent reading, problem solving, as well as team collaborations when taking part in global competitions.

Congratulations to the three DHZH students again. Wish them all the success in applying to their “best-fit” universities with this competitive advantage.

The Canadian Chemistry Olympiad

The Canadian Chemistry Olympiad (CCO) is an annual event that aims to promote interest in chemistry amongst high school students. Participation in the Canadian National Olympiad Finals or an International Olympiad is a tremendous experience and a unique opportunity to travel and meet fellow students from around the world who have similar interests.
