The 2023 DHZH Sports Day took place on 18th April with great anticipation from the community. As one of our major traditions, all students and staff dressed in their House colours to celebrate the sportsmanship and championship in every sports event, where our young athletes demonstrated their efforts and resilience. It was a vibrant day full of energy and enthusiastic cheers.

Sherry P from Alleyn House broke the school record with a distance of 15.00 meters in the discus event, while Marian H, who’s also from Alleyn House, set a new record of 6.52.01 minutes in the women's 1500-metre run.

Not only did the students perform well in individual events, but also in the team competitions. The 4x100 metres relay was an intense one, where each leg run would have the opportunity to change the result of the game.

The Tug of War event was also one of the highlights of the day, fully demonstrating the team spirit and collaboration among our students and staff.

For the first time, parents were invited to be part of the Sports Day this year. They cheered on the students, and even formed a parent team to share the fun of the Tug of War.
