IGCSEs are the leading international qualification for students looking to attend an international university. The IGCSE programme lasts for one or two years, depending upon the qualifications of the student.
Compulsory subjects in our IGCSE course are: Mathematics, English Language, Science (two from Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and Chinese.
Students are required to choose three electives subjects from: Art, Geography, History, Music, Business Studies or Economics (they cannot do both), English Literature and Physics (to allow them to choose all three Science subjects). There is also English Support but this does not lead to an IGCSE. For some students English Support will be mandatory to ensure they reach their full potential.
We also have a selective option; ‘Fast Track’ for students we deem advanced enough. Fast Track is a one-year IGCSE course where the compulsory IGCSE subjects are - Mathematics, English Language, Business Studies, Physics, and Chinese. Students can then select one of two elective subjects; Chemistry or Music.
