James Heapy
Head of Humanities / Assistant Director - Teaching & Learning
Mr. Heapy works in the Humanities department teaching both History and Geography. He has nearly 30 years of teaching and administrative experience throughout his career. Though Canadian, James obtained his Bachelor of Science degree (Social Science) in Secondary Education from Valley City State University in America. Mr. Heapy also has a Masters of Public Administration where he majored in Public Policy.
James has taught previously in Canada, Thailand, Indonesia as well as Taiwan. This will be his ninth year in mainland China where he previously taught at Ulink College, Nansha as well as Wellington College in Hangzhou.
James is married and has two children, Althaf and Della.
