Dulwich College team wins prestigious debate championship in Texas

Congratulations to Year 13, 11 and 10 students from our founding school in London, Dulwich College, Ben, Joe and Luke who travelled to Dallas, Texas and won the Old Parkland Debating Championships 2018.

The invitation to this competition is typically only extended to countries, but Dulwich College has taken part for several years running and is still the only secondary school institution to be invited. The team followed in the footsteps of the winning 2017 Dulwich College team, which included former School Captain, Kenza Wilkes, who visited Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong and Dulwich International High School Suzhou as part of the inaugural DCI Student Leadership Conference in 2017.

Dulwich College and Dulwich College International schools have a very close relationship and the Master of Dulwich College Dr Joseph Spence and Deputy Master (External) Cameron Pyke make annual inspection visits to all Dulwich College International schools. In 2019, Dulwich College will be hosting the second Dulwich Olympiad to celebrate the 400 year anniversary of the founding school. Students from across the Dulwich College International family of schools will travel to London to participate in sports, music, drama and art events.
